New RMI-Family Project Team Member: Kathleen O’Connor

September 17, 2015 by Nicholas Spence

welcomeRecently, we welcomed a new team member to the RMI-Family Project, Kathleen O’Connor.

Kathleen completed her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Western Ontario, including a clinical internship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. During her internship, she was introduced to the complex world of obesity via a rotation in the SickKids Team Obesity Management Program (STOMP); and also completed a course in Motivational Interviewing through the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Together, Kathleen’s research and clinical skills position her to make strong contributions to the RMI-Family project, and she is very excited to be joining the team as a post-doctoral fellow!
