It’s a New Dawn…A New Day

On November 7, 2016, the RMI-Family pilot study commenced recruitment at the Pediatric Centre for Weight and Health in Edmonton. After ~3 weeks, and approaching several families about the study, we just recruited and enrolled our first family (hurray!).

Over the coming months, we plan to enroll 10 families as dyads (10 youth + 10 parents). At this point, we will be testing our processes of data collection, including those related to diet, physical activity, psychosocial health, and importantly, motivation to change. We will also be collecting feedback from families during this time to ensure we optimize their time and make whatever changes are needed before the full study begins later in the year.

Stay tuned for recruitment updates!
