On Friday, June 9, 2017, we journeyed over to Calgary to visit our second RMI-Family study site located at the Pediatric Centre for Weight and Health (PCWH) at Alberta Children’s Hospital.
The main purpose of our visit was to ensure fidelity to study procedures across both sites (Edmonton + Calgary). The visit also provided an opportunity for team members to provide updates on the RMI-Family pilot study, and share experiences derived from conducting the study. ‘Meet and Greets’ were held to give Geoff and I the opportunity to officially meet our research team (Josephine, Heidi, Cheyanne and Claire), clinicians and other staff at the PCWH. The knowledge derived from our visit will be used to evaluate the feasibility of recruitment, retention and study measures (such as the RMI-Family interview, psychological questionnaires and databases) for our ‘full’ study, which is scheduled to commence in August 2017.
Kudos to Josephine and our other team members for facilitating our visit – THANK YOU!
