After years of consistent hard work and dedication by our research team, our RMI-Family ‘Full’ Study is off the ground. Today, we enrolled our first family (youth + parent) for our RMI-Family ‘Full’ Study at the Pediatric Centre for Weight and Health (PCWH) in Edmonton.

During the visit, the RMI-Family interview was administered separately to the youth-parent dyad, then the youth was provided with an ActiGraph accelerometer (to be worn for 7 days) which would be used to quantify physical activity.

In our “So, what’s next for the RMI-Family Project?” blog post, we mentioned that one of our study goals was to commence our ‘full’ study in fall 2017. We did it…our study is on track!
